Silverado Vineyards

Wine is like a book that’s already written—by simply reading its chapters, we understand the terroir and how its story is communicated. These chapters lay the thematic groundwork for visually conveying Silverado’s story in a compelling way—for both current and future generations of customers. Rooted in rich history, beloved lands, and a passion for crafting delicious wine, a chaptered approach brings this Napa Valley winery’s story to life. Drawing upon the Miller family’s strength in storytelling, the photography should feel romantic, but not too precious.
A juxtaposition of mid-range and aerial landscape photography provides the most contextual understanding of the vineyards and their surrounding landscapes.

The approach for Still life vignettes leverages environments with implied signs of human life – allowing scenes to entice the viewer and provide a visceral and authentic way without ever showing people. Utilizing props and styling to signify the season, these shots relied heavily on lighting in order to portray time of day and emphasize seasonal qualities.
